My name is Nancy. This blog is my place to share some stories and life lessons from the past nine decades of my life.

Yes, that’s right. This year, I am 90 years young.

Some simple facts about me. I was married for over 55 years, until my husband passed away. Together we raised three children, now in their late 60s and 70s. I am also a grandmother of 8 children, ranging in age from 2 to 48 years old.

Throughout my life, I have always had an ambitious and adventurous streak. Over 50 years, I worked in many different occupations.  I was a beauty therapist with my own business. I worked in insurance, and home decorations. I sold products through direct marketing.  I have belonged to many organizations such as Mother’s Clubs, Cub Scouts, Charities and ToastMasters.

My adventures have led me to travel to many countries. I have had some amazing adventures, met incredible people and learned a lot about different cultures.

I love doing crafts, water colours, drawing and writing, creating and developing new interests. This year, I decided to start writing.
