Possibilities

Possibilities

Possibilities!  What are they?

A possibility is something that crops up in our daily lives quite often.

Possibilities are something that has the capability of existing, or happening, or being true.

So, let us look at the different possibilities.

The capability of existing; we all exist but if we do nothing different, we remain the same. The possibilitity that this world offers to become something that we can only ponder about.

The possibility of happening; we all have dreams and hopes for ourselves and our families, and that is what they will remain unless we act on them.

We need to give it a go. Sometimes it doesn’t work out the way we wanted it to. Then we have the possibility to rethink the situation and improve on it.

Working on our plans for the future not only brings the possibility of success but perhaps more important the feeling of self-satisfaction.

William Shakespeare wrote “We know what we are, but not what we can be.”

Now we come to the possibility of being true; imagine that for years we have thought about the type of lifestyle we would like to live. In our minds eye we see it all clearly, we think to ourselves, ‘one day.’

What we really need to do is to take action. We have thought about it long enough. We have planned it so often that we know what to do. All things are possible to those that believe.

The possibilities are ours, make it happen because who you are tomorrow depends on what you do today.

To all my elderly friends, often as we get older many of us feel they have left their run too late.

Today we are the youngest we will ever be, so we need to start now. Life takes on a new meaning when we begin to move forward.

Never lose hope. Stay true to yourself and to your dreams.

I have learned that possibilities can be numerous once we decide to act and not react. Once you believe you are worthy of achieving your dreams, anything is possible.

I will leave you with this quote from Audrey Hepburn.

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m possible.”

Nancy.
